The BITL kitchen, with its retro design, is the most unusual in the First Furniture Factory’s line of modern kitchens. It evokes the furniture of the 1950s, with its characteristic “puffy” shape. The geometry of this model is based on the industrial aesthetic of the 1950s and 1960s, when rounded shapes dominated design and bold color combinations dominated interiors: rich red paired with achromatic black and white, yellow, gold, green, and turquoise.
